BIRTHRIGHT

As part of the St. Thomas More Society’s commitment to life, its members make contributions to Birthright of Scranton. This ministry offers help to young girls and women in order to keep their babies, rather than having an abortion. They offer free pregnancy tests, medical referrals, maternity clothing, baby clothing and supplies. Members of the Society contribute hand made baby clothing, new baby clothing & supplies, gift cards to grocery & other stores, formula, etc. in order to continue this ministry which provides the means for women to choose life for their infants.

ROSARY

Another effort of the Society to promote life is our weekly praying of the Rosary for the Lives of the Unborn. Each Wednesday at 5:00pm, we gather at St. Anthony of Padua Church in order to beg the intercession of Our Blessed Mother for innocent unborn in our diocese and around the world.

EVANGELIZATION

The St. Thomas More Society has an ongoing financial and spiritual commitment of support for the Anglican Use Society. Through our support of this organization we promote the Pastoral Provision of Pope John Paul II and the Anglican Usage of the Roman Rite as ways to facilitate the reconciliation of our separated Anglican brethren to Mother Church.  Our Chaplain, Fr. Bergman, serves on the Board of Directors for the Anglican Use Society.
