Trustees’ Meeting
January 9, 2005
Members present:

Mr. Eric Bergman opened the meeting with prayer.
A secretary is needed and Eric Bergman asked if there were any volunteers in the group
And William Harris indicated if no one else was interested he would he willing. Mr.
Harris was elected secretary unanimously.
Mr. Bergman informed the group that a website and phone have been established this week. The phone number is 570-343-0634 and our web address is www.stthomasmoresociety.org. Email for Mr. Bergman is already established for him thru the web site and addresses for each of the board will he in place sometime this week. The email address for Eric and the members will be their last name @stthomasmoresociety.org. To date the web site has had over 500 hits
Volunteers are needed to head the ushers and lectors as well as a music\organist.
David Kimble has accepted the head of the lectors.
James Reese accepted head of the ushers,
Judy Sanderson accepted the music\organist director.
Mike Kester will he in charge of the acolytes.
Ray Nearhood will be in charge of materials acquisition.
Bernice Facciani has accepted the position as Financial Secretary.
A volunteer is still needed for pastoral care.
Jerry McGreevy gave a brief financial report indicating funds to be around 10,000 dollars.
Mr. Bergman informed the group of a field trip to Boston being put together by Joanne Shuemaker. Details will be forthcoming, and that a newsletter will be published soon, either by the end of January or early February.
Ed Facciani reviewed his intentions for the bible study to beheld at St Clare’s Church every Tuesday evening from 7:30 pm to 9:00pm and will involve music, study followed by intercessory prayer. He also informed the group of his involvement with prison ministry and asks that anyone interested in volunteering for such a ministry can contact him.
Mr. Bergman also informed the group of an Anglican Parish meeting to he held in Texas sometime in the future and requested he be able to attend. Ed Facciani made a motion to send Mr. Bergman to the meeting and Don Sanderson seconded the motion and all approved.
No meeting for the future has been scheduled at this time.
With no further business to conclude Paul Coviello made a motion to close adjourn the meeting, seconded by Ed Facciani.
