Meeting began with Prayer at 11:05 AM
Minutes from meeting of July 9, 2006 were accepted.

Financial reports for July was accepted

Anglican Use Conference 2006:

Fr. Eric discussed his trip to Houston, Corpus Christi and San Antonio TX. Jerry McGreevy will accompany Fr. Eric to assist as needed (Driving) etc. Fr. Stetson and Taylor Marshall cancelled out of trip do to additional men making application. They need to be in Washington to set up additional interviews, etc.

Jeff Whorton is in New Mexico and has begun the process.

Fr. Eric to document: how to erect a parish”.

Will discuss with other Pastors and lay people the “association of the faithful” (copy of proposal on file).  Looking to get common contributions to cover administrative expenses for an administrative assistant to aid converts.

Administrative:

            Marty’s CD’s from the conference need to be replaced.

Authorized to purchase tithing envelopes for 2007

Proposed a calendar for 2007 that will have all the holy days.etc. Estimated cost of $ 300.  Jim Reese to look for donations to cover cost.

Pastoral concerns

            Some response has been received regarding the Patron for our Parish.

            Blessed Pope John Paul II; St. John Fisher; St. Bede; St Barnabas

AU Retreat to be held on Fr, Sat & Sun, Dec 1^st thru Dec 3^rd at Graymoor, in Garrison NY.   Fr. Eric will give some meditation.  He will return in time for Church on Sunday, Dec 3^rd.  Cost is $ 225.

Birthright ministry.  We will have a second collection on Sept 24^th to assist STMS in purchasing car seats for Birthright.

The Pastoral Provision office (Taylor Marshall) is in process of organizing a pilgrimage to Our Lady of Walsingham & Rome – September 21 – September 29, 2007. More information to follow.

 Fr. Eric’s tests will be given Sept 25^th through Sept 29^th.  His oral exam will be on Oct 20^th.  

 Monthly covered dish luncheon is moved to the 4^th Sunday in Sept because Fr. Eric will be away.  He will also report on his trip
