General comments from attendees, “happy with the Conference”.

Next year, each Trustee will be asked to handle a certain aspect of the Conference, with Fr. Eric being the coordinator. Too much being handled by one person DURING the Conference.

Fr. Stetson and his assistant Taylor Marshall will be visiting all the AU Parishes in TX in September.  Fr. Stetson has asked that Fr. Eric make the trip to TX to further promote relations between the parishes and STMS.  Trustees authorized Fr. Eric to make the trip.  He will be away for two Sundays.( 9/15 to 9/25 ).

Bishop Dougherty’s visit on Sunday, May 21st.  A great meeting with Bishop Dougherty, everyone had an opportunity to ask questions and to receive an answer.  At present, all concerns have been addressed.

Pastoral concerns:

Fr. Eric will be able to provide a weekly teaching at 12:45 PM every Sunday and administer the Chalice during Communion if there is only one priest on the altar.

The Bishop has asked Fr. Eric to represent the Diocese and become certified in

“Health Care Ethics”. Fr. Eric will have to travel to Boston and Chicago to attend meetings. The Diocese will pay the costs. After being certified, Fr. Eric will be the spokesman for the Diocese on the subject.

Fr. Eric has begun preparation for his anticipated (hoped for) exams in September. Besides Fr. Connors, several other priests have been assigned to tutor Fr. Eric. Fr. Eric will need to STUDY Canon Law eight hours a day. According, Fr. Eric will need to have some help with his administrative duties. ANYONE that can provide assistance GREAT or SMALL should contact Fr. Eric.

Third Sunday of the Month to be Covered Dish Lunch – Fellowship, with monthly updates regarding STMS and other teachings.  Program will be provided for the youth.

Picnic to be held on Saturday, August 19th at the Bear Creek Association Camp Grounds. Judy Sanderson to coordinate a picnic-planning meeting. Reminder - NO PETS are allowed in the picnic grove.

A family from STMS needs assistance.  An interest free loan of $ 1,500.00 was authorized.

Next meeting is set for Sunday, July 9th at Eleven O’clock AM.

Meeting closed in Prayer at 11:50 AM.

Respectfully submitted
Jerry McGreevy
