St. Thomas More Society of St. Clare
Church Present: Eric L. Bergman, Ed Facciani, Jerry McGreevy, Jim Reese and Don Sanderson. Absent Bill Harris, and Ed Jordan Guest: Bernice Facciani and Judy Sanderson Meeting began with Prayer at 11:15 AM Minutes from meeting of Oct 15, 2006 were accepted. Financial report for September was accepted. Fr. Eric to request Fr. Phillips to release their grant from being restricted (Building a Church) to non-restricted. Director’s Trips: A Meeting with Arch Bishop Myers is scheduled for Wed, Nov 29th. B. Fr. Eric has been asked to speak at several churches in California during the week of May 19, 2007. Concern was discussed regarding Fr. Eric’s absence from Mass on the weekends. All future speaking engagements will be require prayerful deliberation with the mutual concent. C. Retreat in Hancock NY was rescheduled for Tuesday Nov 21st... D. The meeting in Northern Virginia to explore the Anglican Use has been rescheduled to Dec 11th. E. Retreat at Graymoor has been cancelled. Administrative Matters: A. The Third Quarter special collection letter that was sent out has generated some special grants. B. Pilgrimage to Walsingham and Rome - pamphlets will be mailed on or before Nov 17th. C. We reviewed the projected cash flow report (Calendar Year 2006). It will be presented to members at the pot luck on Nov 19th Pastoral concerns: A. Round Robin dinner rescheduled to Saturday, Jan 6th – Epiphany. Becky Huffman and Fr. Eric are the co chairs for the event. B. Mass will be held on Saturday, December 23rd at 7:00 PM ( This is in place of the Sunday December 24th at 1:00). Christmas Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, December 24th at 7:00 PM. C. Fr. Eric has been asked to write an article for CMQ (Catholic Men’s Quarterly). Next Meeting of Board will be on Sunday, December 10th at 11:00 AM. The pot luck for December will be held on Sunday, December 17th. Meeting closed in
